Abena Korkor’s Mother Speaks Out – Says Her Condition Is Beyond Science

A recent social media post allegedly from Abena Korkor claims that Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy is “wack in bed.” This follows her well-known pattern of naming men she has been involved with, a habit that has sparked conversations in Ghana over the years.

However, in an audio recording—reportedly from an interview with an unidentified woman—Abena Korkor’s mother denied her daughter’s involvement in the recent posts. She revealed that Abena has not had access to her phone, as she disposed of it during a relapse.

According to Abena’s mother, her daughter’s struggles with mental health led her to discard her phone on May 24 of last year 2024. She emphasized that any content circulating in Abena’s name since then is not from her but from unknown individuals.

Her mother further explained that Abena’s actions during relapses are often unconscious, stating, “Her mind doesn’t conform; she doesn’t know what she’s doing.”

She also disclosed that Abena had been away from home, and upon her return, her condition worsened. A media house had reported on her situation, prompting her mother to retrieve her and take her to the hospital.

Abena Korkor reportedly had four phone numbers, and according to her mother, some of the recent posts are allegedly from a man at “IPS. She also suggested that her daughter’s struggles go beyond medical explanations, claiming they are spiritual.

Despite doctors not acknowledging this belief, she urged Ghanaians to support Abena in prayer, hoping that one day “God will set her table before her enemies.”
