Feli Nuna Talks About Joining Massive Tribe and Her Artistic Journey with Beda Ehrensperger
Felicia Nuna Akosua Tawiah, widely known as Feli Nuna, has captured the Ghanaian music scene as a rapper, singer, and producer. Recently, on THE CHAT show with Ekow Koomson, Nuna shared a story of unexpected musical connection that led her to join the innovative band, Massive Tribe. The journey began at a naming ceremony where an unusual sound piqued Nuna’s curiosity, leading her and her friend Fizzy to follow it to a live performance. Moments later, Nuna was on stage, sparking a creative collaboration that transformed her career.
Feli Nuna’s link to Beda Ehrensperger, Massive Tribe’s founder, began around mid-2023. Beda, a Swiss musician and producer, relocated to Ghana in 2019, where he gradually built a studio that became a gathering place for solo artists from diverse backgrounds. Nuna joined just as she was searching for fresh artistic avenues.
Massive Tribe also includes rising artist Lor, who connected with Beda through a mutual friend. Although initially hesitant, she soon saw the collective as an ideal space to explore new sounds, beyond her usual guitar and loop pedal performances.
While fully involved in Massive Tribe, Nuna is still preparing for her next solo album. The band’s project, Alta Stella, symbolizes both Nuna’s creative evolution and Beda’s vision of musical exploration, blending each member’s unique style into a unified sound that is reshaping Ghana’s music landscape.
