I Thought Social Media Was Created by ‘Maame Water’ Piesie Esther Shares
In a lighthearted revelation, Gospel singer Piesie Esther shared how she once thought social media was the work of a mythical figure known as “Maame Water” and believed it could bring negative consequences. During a recent interview with Adom FM, she laughed as she recalled her initial fears.
“We only used to hear the negative side of social media,” Piesie explained. “At first, I thought social media was for Maame Water when it became so popular. But eventually, I realized it’s now an essential part of our lives, very different from what we initially thought. Now, everyone needs to embrace it to help their ministry or business.”
With her growing understanding, Piesie now sees social media as a valuable tool, especially for her music career. She’s gearing up for the third edition of her annual ‘Made By Grace’ concert on Sunday, November 3, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), with performances from artists like Amy Newman, Nana Yaw Asare, Ohemaa Mercy, Ceccy Twum, Perez Musik, and Sammy Baah.
