Friends’ 30th Anniversary-New Game Show ‘Fast Friends’ Set to Stream on Max
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the iconic sitcom Friends, Max is launching a brand-new game show titled Fast Friends. This four-part competition series will challenge die-hard fans with trivia, puzzles, and interactive games set inside The “Friends” Experience in New York, a popular attraction that recreates famous sets from the show.
Participants will race through Monica and Rachel’s apartment, Joey and Chandler’s bachelor pad, and grab coffee at Central Perk, as they relive unforgettable moments from the beloved show. The ultimate Friends fan team will be crowned by the end of the series.
Produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television, Fast Friends will enter production in October, although an official release date is still to be announced. The Friends Experience, which also has a permanent location in London and soon in Las Vegas, has been a global hit, traveling to 25 cities across eight countries.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary further, Max will offer bonus content, themed episode collections, and exclusive in-app features. Originally airing in 1994, Friends starred Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, and became one of television’s most beloved sitcoms. The cast reunited in 2021 for a special, reminiscing on the show’s lasting legacy.
