Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Dominic, aged 48, has shared the reason behind her decision to wait before getting married. In a recent interview, Rita, who tied the knot with her longtime partner Fidelis Anosike in April 2022, explained that she wanted to ensure she was marrying for the “right reasons” and not due to societal expectations.

Rita acknowledged facing pressure from society over the years but revealed she was determined not to rush into marriage until it felt right for her. She emphasized that in the event of a failed marriage, it would be her, not society, dealing with the consequences.
